Spiles

In the case of poor or fractured geology conditions in tunnels, spiles are primarily used as lightweight pre-support before excavation. A variety of spiles are available on site for different geology conditions. For soft soil condition, the self drilling spiles are recommended. However, if the borehole remains sustained after drilling, then the rebar spiles could be used to reduce the cost. If grouting is required for ground consolidation, then tube spiles would be necessary.

Suggested Dimensions:
Self-drilling Spile - R25, R32, R38, R51
Rebar Spile - D25, D29, D32, D36
Tube Spile - Diameters 38, 42, 48, 51, 60.5mm

Suggested Length:
3m, 4m, 5m and 6m in one piece
